C.M.S. COURSE - PART (A) (FIRST SEMESTER) (I YEAR)

  3. Nervous System, Articular System.
  4. Excretory System.
  5. Respiratory System.
  6. Digestive System.
  7. Reproductive System.
  8. E.N.T., Eye, and Abdomen.

II. PATHOLOGY:

  1. Bacteriology (Virus, Bacteria), Parasitology.
  2. Stool, Urine, Blood, Sputum-Collection for Examination.
  3. Disinfection.
  4. Antiseptic Disinfection.

III. PHYSIOLOGY:

  1. Blood Cardio-Vascular System.
  2. Lymphatic System.
  3. Respiratory System.
  4. Digestive System.
  5. Metabolism, Vitamins, Diet, Reproductive System.
  6. Endocrine System.
  7. Nervous System Excretory System.

IV. FIRST AID:

  1. Home Nursing.
  2. Drug Addiction.
  3. Mental Diseases.

V. PREVENTIVE & SOCIAL MEDICINE (P.S.M.):

  1. Nutrition, Child Welfare, Breastfeeding.
  2. Oral Dehydration Therapy, Immunization, B.C.G., Measles D.P.T, Cholera, Typhoid.
  3. Family Welfare - Birth Control, Contraception, Sterility, Sterilization, Quinacrine.

VI. JURISPRUDENCE:

  6. Diseases of the Endocrine System.
  7. Tropical Diseases of The Urinary System.
  8. Diseases of the Liver and Biliary Tract.
  9. Diseases of the Pancreas.
  10. Diseases of the Nervous System.
  11. Skin Infection.
  12. Allergy.

VIII. CLINICAL:

  1. History Taking.
  2. Clinical Examination - Blood, Urine, Stool, Sputum.

IX. GYNECOLOGY & OBST:

  1. Disease of Menstrual Disorder.
  2. Leucorrhea.
  3. Toxemia of Pregnancy.
  4. Labour.
  5. Complication of the Third Stage of Labour.
  6. Abnormal Presentation.

X. HEALTH & HYGIENE:

  1. Food and Nutritional Food in relation to health and disease, Balanced nutritional deficiencies, Nutritional Survey & Food Processing.
  2. Effect of Climate, Humidity Temperature, Pressure, and other conditions on the comfort zone.
  3. Personal Hygiene (cleanliness, rest, sleep work), physical exercise and training.
  4. Definition and Importance.
  5. Atmospheric Pollution-purification of air, air sterilization, airborne diseases.
  6. Water Supplies-Sources and uses, impurities purification, Public Water supplies in urban and rural areas.
  7. Conservancy-Method in villages, towns, and cities, Septic Tanks, dry earth, Latrines, water closets, disposal of sewage, disposal of the dead disposal of refuse incineration.
  8. Disinfection-disinfectants, deodorants, antiseptic germicides, methods of disinfection and sterilization.

XI. LIST OF ESSENTIAL DRUGS FOR T.C.: DDS, Rifampicin, Clofazirnine, Isoniazid, Rifampicin, Thioacetanzone Additional Drugs used under expert's supervision.
